[Legacy Report] Seminar on SEMANTIC NETOWORKS conducted by IEEE CS, MJCET
Bearing in mind the growing importance of Semantic Networks in the field of Artificial Intelligence, IEEE CS organized a seminar on Saturday the 14th December, 2013. The chief guest and the speaker for the seminar was Professor Putcha Narsimham. The seminar was conducted in the Seminar hall, attracting a crowd of more than 55 students.
About the Speaker :
Professor Putcha Narsimham is an IT Professional engaged in Research, Teaching and consulting. He obtained M Tech with Computer Science Major from I.I.T Kanpur and is pursuing his research in software engineering methodologies, Business Process Modeling & Design, BA,
RE, knowledge and meaning representation, processing and delivery, Learning Management Systems.
Commencement of the Seminar :
The proceedings for the day started with the welcoming of the dignitaries, the Speaker, Professor Putcha Narsimham, Maniza Hijab, Chapter Advisor IEEE CS MJCET and ArifUddin Sohel, Branch Mentor IEEE MJCET. ArifUddin Sohel, addressed the gathering and invited the chief guest to commence the seminar.
Professor Putcha Narsimham's scholarly and a sophisticated personality combined with his cordial nature, made the crowd keen and earnest. After a brief lecture on the topic, he conducted an interesting activity in which the students enthusiastically participated .
The seminar ended by a vote of thanks by JSR Bharadwaj, Treasurer IEEE CS, MJCET and the students were greatly inspired by the talk as they could gather much information that would help them in their projects.
