This talk will focus on the low-complexity VLSI architecture design methodologies for several signal processing algorithms targeting emerging healthcare applications by introducing an algorithm-architecture holistic approach. Couple of very popular signal processing algorithms will be considered for illustration purpose whose low-complexity architectures will be formulated after establishing their importance in the context of the resource-constraint applications including the remote personalized healthcare.
