The talk will be a presentation and demonstration of how 2 phase and single phase technologies will allow for better thermal management.
As the power levels of semiconductors increase along with associated flux densities, there is a need to implement higher thermal conductivity methods than standard passive cooling solutions afford. However, this is not a discussion of active or liquid cooling.The talk will provide insight as to how thermal gradients can be reduced to improve performance.
