On Tuesday, September 24, 2014 IEEE WIE Chicago hosted a light dinner and presentation entitled “Patents and What to Expect†at the IIT Rice Campus (Wheaton, IL). The eloquent presenters were Lisa Schoedel and Sarah Dudah.
Lisa Schoedel, Esquire and Sarah Duda, Esquire spoke on “What to Expect When You’re Inventing: The Patenting Processâ€. The room was quiet and all in attendance were very captivated. Everyone in attendance found the presentation to be beneficial and gained knowledge in what to expect during each phase of the patenting process: (1) documenting the invention; (2) filing a patent application; (3) working with the patent office and; (4) patent issuance. We were truly honored to hear from these two outstanding professional. After the presentation, the question and answer session was very engaging as continued for over 30 minutes.
