[Legacy Report] A Lecture on ‘How to Give Effective Power Point Presentation’

 IEEE  Student  Branch,  Zakir  Husain  college  of  Engineering  and  Technology  Organised  an  expert
lecture on “How to give Effective Power point Presentation” held at Conference room, Department
of Electrical Engineering, Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology.
The  response was great as  it was attended by undergraduate students  from 1st
  to 4th
 Year of  the
College. There was an active participation of students of engineering faculty with their great intention
to improve their presentation Skills.   
The  lecture  was  mainly  focused  on  need  of  engineering  students  to  help  them  effectively  present
themselves in seminars, presentation competition. Students of engineering irrespective of their branch,
attended the lecture with common perspective of gaining communication abilities. Also, this acquainted
the students with a vast key points to be kept in mind while presenting their idea. 

The Lecture was preceded by the introductory speech by Mr Atif Fasih, Industrial Relation Chair, IEEE AMU
student branch. He welcomed the Speaker and students. He further invited Dr Mohd Rihan to grace  and
impart the knowledge to students.
Rihan Sir introduced the students with the help of PowerPoint slide presentation step by step , guiding on
how to start  the presentation, Structure a Presentation, how to Effectively deliver  it. The presentation
inspired and corrected the students to format their Presentation skills in an Effective manner.
He also addressed the specific format for a presentation defining each part in an ordered way. At the end of the lecture the students were invited to ask questions. Finally, Mr Sagar bhardwaj, Chairman
IEEE AMU Student Branch thanked Dr Mohd Rihan, and all participants for making the event a successful
one.
