The inauguration of the IEEE-IAS Student Branch Chapter
at IIT Kanpur was held on 27th of Nov, 2014 by Blake Lloyd and Peter
Magyar. Blake Lloyd gave a brief presentation on the activities of IAS
society and their achievements. Prof. Magyer gave an informative
presentation on the membership activity. IAS Society  is commemorating its
50th founding year this year. The day long programme included visits to
laboratories and central facilities, meeting young researchers, etc.
