[Legacy Report] Sausage sizzle
The Young Professional affinity group organized a Sausage Sizzle to promote the awareness of the institute amongst the general public and to give the IEEE members, particularly students, YP and WIE, the opportunity to meet and share their expectations for future activities. Members of the committee were present all the time to address any query regarding the YP and WIE activities, as well as the IEEE in general. Food was sold amongst the general public as a fundraising exercise to fund future activities.
More than 200 individuals stop by to contribute with the fundraising exercise and fins more about the institute. Some YPs, WIE and students also attended.
Overall the fundraising exercise was successful and the money raised has been allocated to fund more activities oriented for YPs and WIE.
