[Legacy Report] IEEE GRIET SB WEB TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER
IEEE GRIET SB conducted its first cluster on Web Technologies on 18th February, 2015 from 1:30p.m to 3:00p.m at Room No. 1503. The session for 33 members who sought Web developing skills began with an introduction of the attendees.
This was followed by the introduction to Web Technologies by the speaker, K Eva Soni, Treasurer at IEEE GRIET SB, which involved the various coding languages and pre-requisites for web development. The chief focus of the cluster was to impart the basics of HTML programming to the attendees.
Most of the audience being first year students, the session also focussed on sharing other valuable technical facts which threw a light on the advancing technologies in engineering. The session also included a hands-on session in which the members were guided by the ExeCom members in creating a basic website using HTML.
The event was a nice start to the series of clusters that were to be held on Web Technologies throughout the term and the SB is looking forward to instil technical skills in the members.
