Experiences of Empirical Studies in Renewable Energy: Opportunities and Challenges for Research Collaboration
Azzam ul Asar, Ph.D. & Professor, Dean, Faculty of Engineering
University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan
Time: 2pm, July 30, 2015
Place: ECE 202
In the present research world, both researchers and practitioners in the Renewable Energy (RE) community have acknowledged the significance of empirical evaluation as an instrument to gain knowledge about various aspects of RE field from implementation perspectives. This invited talk will highlight the research experiences in the cutting edge areas of Renewable Energy (RE), Distributed generation, Smart Grid, and also covers some more recent research avenues in Integrative Biosciences and Machining. A significant number of empirical studies have been conducted in the search for knowledge about RE problems and successful application of proposed solutions. The talk will give a brief account of research results carried out on different topics. Finally, it will identify opportunities and challenges in research avenues for collaboration on topics of mutual interest.
