[Legacy Report] IEEECVRSB_Engineer of the Year_SEPTEMBER-15-2014
The event was conducted on the occasion of Engineers' day. The main objective of the event is to test the student's ability in different fields in three different rounds and title them the ENGINEER OF THE YEAR.
ROUND 1: This was conducted on 11th September 2014. A written test (40 MC questions 40 min).192 students appeared for this round. The students IQ, logical ability was tested in this round. The faculty from the H & S department has evaluated the students. A total of 40 students were shortlisted from the first round.
ROUND-2:This was conducted on 12th September 2014. This is a GD (group discussion) round. Selected candidates from round 1 are grouped randomly. Topics for the discussion, mainly from the current affairs were disclosed on the spot.The students were evaluated on the basis of their content, spontaneity and speaking skills. 14 students are promoted to the final round.
ROUND -3: The final round was conducted on 15th September 2014. This was an idea presentation round. The students presented their idea with the help of power point presentation. The faculty from the technical department evaluated the students and queries were posed to the students. The students were evaluated based on their presentation skills, content, knowledge on the topic. Two students won the event and were titled “Engineer of The Year.”
