[Legacy Report] INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO WIPRO
The IEEE CS Student Chapter of MJCET conducted an industrial visit to WIPRO Technologies, Nanakramguda, Manikonda, Hyderabad on march 03,2014(Monday) from 9:30AM TO 1:30PM.The purpose of the visit was to let the student members get an insight regarding the internal working environment of the company and to familiarize them with how a company functions. The total number of students who attended this trip was twenty seven in addition to faculty member Dr. K. Udai Kumar, who is the ICS Chapter advisor and an associate professor of CSED the tour bus left MJCET campus at around 9:30AM and arrived at WIPRO Technologies at about 10:15AM.
Mr. Nikhil Chaturvedi of WIPRO received the group and escorted them to the sunflower Imphitheatre for the first session. An informative video session on WIPRO Technologies was conducted first. It was then followed by introduction to WIPRO Technologies by Mr. Nikhil Chaturvedi. A second lecture session was conducted by Mr. Seshu Kumar, Account delivery head for Advanced Technology Group regarding the operations of WIPRO Technologies. He elaborated on all the cutting-edge technologies that WIPRO is currently involved with and how it enables their client to do better business. This was followed by end question and answer session for the students.
The students learnt a lot about the work culture and ethics of the organization and career opportunities at WIPRO. The students were then escorted around the beautiful WIPRO campus at around noon. After the completion of the tour, the group left the WIPRO campus at around 12:30PM and arrived in MJCET at around 1:30PM.
