The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society conducted a technical and logical test as well as interviews for the purpose of technical team formation on 7th August, 2015. The initiative was taken by the executive committee members of IEEE SB MJCET with the assistance of Dr. Arifuddin Sohel, Branch Counsellor, IEEE SB MJCET. The main objective of this initiative was to recruit students passionate about electronics and implementing real time projects. The recruited shall assemble on one platform and share their ideas and experiences which in turn will be of effective use while implementing the real time projects. In this regards, two technical heads were appointed to mentor the recruited students.
The selection process comprised of two rounds:
1) Technical and Logical Quiz Round
2) Interviews
The technical and logical round was based on basics of electronics and few logical questions which evaluated the approach and ability to think of the students in various directions. The students were shortlisted based on their performances and were being further assessed through an interview round in which their zeal and passion was observed. Finally, the students were recruited for the technical team and were instructed to come up with real time project ideas which they would be implementing.
