The IEEE CAS/ED chapter in collaboration with IEEE CASS MJCET organised a technical talk on “NANO TECHNOLOGY-PROMISE AND REALITY” by Dr. M. Ghanashyam Krishna, Professor, Centre for Advanced Studies in Electronics Science and Technology, School of Physics, University of Hyderabad on 16th April, 2015 at MJCET.
The seminar progressed with a welcome note and bouquet presentation by the students. The speaker began with the introduction of nanotechnology and importance of it in the present technological era. He highlighted the basic issues in Nano science and technology and the areas in which nanotechnology has lived upto the early promise discussed about the future challenges.
The lecture also comprised of discussion about the on-going research at the University of Hyderabad and also about the internship program for students at UoH.
The seminar was concluded with a thanksgiving note by Dr. Arifuddin Sohel, Secretary/Treasurer, IEEE CAS/EDS Chapter and presenting a memento to the esteemed speaker Dr. M. Ghanashyam Krishna by Dr. Kaleem Fatima, Vice Chair, IEEE CAS/EDS Chapter as a mark of acknowledgement for his remarkable lecture on nanotechnology and sciences.
