The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society conducted an event “TECH SAFARI” on 17th January, 2015. The event was based on demonstration of academic projects to the students of various branches. Numerous students presented their respective working models and explained the very minute details of the model.
At first, the candidates were requested to mail the abstracts of their respective models or projects in an appropriate IEEE Paper format. The efficient and eminent projects were being selected and short-listed for the demonstration. The shortlisted teams comprised of 2 members each and were being directed to present their models on the very next day.
The event commenced with participating teams demonstrating and giving an insight of their models to the students from various branches whose turnout was ample and they were briefed with the types of projects being displayed. The participants were evaluated based on their model, technical skills, presentation skills and the way of conveying the information about their respective projects to the visiting participants. The participants and the students viewing the various projects gave a positive feedback and were curious and enthusiastic for looking up to each and every working model displayed.
At last, the students evaluated based on the parameters were being awarded by Mr. FerhatUllah Hussainy, Dean Administration, MJCET as well as the participants were given a certificate of appreciation for their efforts, time and dedication. The event concluded with an acknowledgement from Mr. FerhatUllah Hussainy who appreciated the participants and encouraged many such technical events where students can acquire ample technical knowledge.
