Growing Your Small Business

Our talk will guide you through an “end to end” sales process, especially suited to selling professional services. The presentation assumes little or no selling experience. You will learn how to:

- Win Sales
- Close Sales: Win, Lose, Draw

The task harder than any engineering problem is to convince a new prospect to spend that “first dollar”. The presentation will give you keen insight into the strengths and challenges facing technology-savvy professionals and how to overcome them.



ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Michael Grottola is a senior IEEE member who has over 30 years of business and technology experience, specializing in consulting, mentoring decision makers and monetizing business ideas. In the latter part of his career, Mike has focused on assisting entrepreneurs with regard to small business startup and growth, by helping them secure capital.

Mike has both domestic and international business experience. With a BSEE from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York, he worked in defense, commercial and financial industries.

His firm, MGG Consulting of Upper Saddle River, NJ, audits new ideas and growth plans, assesses their viability, and creates business and marketing plans to deliver practical “Go To Market” strategies. Mike can be reached at http://mgg-consulting.com .
