Inauguration Function –

     Prof.K.Nirupa Rani, Former Vice-Chancellor Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmandry was the Chief Guest for the Inaugural session held on  22^nd September 2015 at 9:00 am in Seminar Hall–1.

    On the first day of the workshop,22^nd september, A session had been given by Mr. P.Siva Kumar, Scientist-B, SAMEER,CE-3, Vizag on the topic “Elelctro-magnetics: Theory & Interference Measurements” and  “Mathemetical Modeling& Functional Simulations of Electromagnetics”.

     In the afternoon session, Prof. G.Tirumala Rao, Sr Professor,ECE Dept, GVPCE(A),Ex-Scientist,ISRO. had taught the students on the topic “Antenna Technologies for Satellite Systems”.

       On second day of the workshop i.e., 23^rd of September Dr. N.Bala Subramanyam, HOD, ECE, GVPCE(A), Visakhapatnam enlightened the students on the topic of “Analysis and Synthesis of Radiation Patterns” in the morning session

     In the afternoon session, Dr. R.Ramana Reddy, HOD, ECE, MVGRCOE(A), Vizianagaram had taught the students on the topic “Advanced Antennas For Wideband Applications”.

Valedictory Function –

     Dr S.Lakshminarayana, Chairman, IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section  was the Chief Guest for the Valedictory session held on 23rd  September 2015  at 3:00 pm in Seminar Hall–1. Certificate of Training and merit was issued to all students who completed two day training on theory and practical sessions successfully.

      Sri Dadi Ratnakar, Correspondent, Prof. Dr. Ch. Srinivasu, Principal, Prof.K.Amarendra,vice principal,Prof.A.Vamsidhar,Head of the Department, ECE,DIET IEEE Student counselor Smt K.Sulochana,DIET IEEE Student chair Mr P.Mahanth , all HODs, staff members and students participated in the two day workshop and made it a Grand Success.
