The event was a -hour technical talk on "Reduced order modelling", the keynote speaker of which was Dr.Rajendra Prasad, professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. The session mainly focused on the various order reduction methods for control systems, presently used. The speaker also discussed the various challenges and problems involved in implementing these methods, and ways to overcome them. The speaker's interaction with the participants also raised some workable project ideas.
