[Legacy Report] National Electrical Code
These seminars will cover the highlights and application of the National Electrical Code as it applies to industrial facilities. The seminar presentation is based on the 2014 Edition of the NEC, and the presentation will include highlights and application of NEC Chapter 1 (General), Chapter 2 (Wiring and Protection), Chapter 3 (Wiring Methods and Materials), Chapter 4 (Equipment for General Use), Chapter 5 (Special Occupancies), Chapter 6 (Special Equipment, and Chapter 7 (Special Conditions).
Breakfast and Lunch will be included for all sessions.
Highlights of the presentation include sizing circuit breakers and conductors (feeders, branch circuits, motor circuits); equipment and system grounding; overcurrent protection rules; types of conductors and raceways; application of cable tray, including tray fill and conductor ampacity rules; motor circuits; transformers; hazardous area classification; fire pumps; and emergency systems.
