Inaugural function:
Started with an invocation song and lighting of a lamp.
Shri S. Sudarsan Chair IEEE SB GVP College welcomed all the members and the dignitaries to the dias.
Shri K. Ramakrishna, Director IEEE R10 (Asia & Pacific), Dr. Koduri Srinivas, Chair IEEE Hyderabad Section, Dr. N. Lakshminarayana, Vice-Chair, IEEE Hyderabad Section, Dr. Vijayalata Reddy, SAC, IEEE Hyderabad Section, Dr. Murty P. Bhavaraju, Dr. ABK Rao, Pricipal GVP College of Engineering, Dr. N. Deepika Rani and Dr. S. Lakshminarayana Chair IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section spoke on the event, IEEE mission mode activities and about the section activities.
Shri K. Ramakrishna garu delivered key note address and all the other speakers spoke. Dr. S. Lakshminarayana chaired the session.
Inaugural session ended with a vote of thanks to all and tea was served.
Dr. Murty P. Bhavaraju, delivered an invited talk on “Role of professional activities in the career”.
Dr. Koduri Srinivas Chair IEEE Hyderabad spoke about the antennas design and its advancement in todays world.
Dr. N. Lakshminarayana Vice-Chair IEEE, Hyderabad spoke on the areas of advancement in space science and its applications.
A panel discussion on “Role of Engineering Students in Make in India” was organized, where Dr. Koduri Srinivas, Chair IEEE Hyderabad Section, Dr. N. Lakshminarayana, Vice-Chair, IEEE Hyderabad Section, Dr. Sastry V Vedula, Dr. N. Balasubrahmanyam, K. Sriram CEO Andhra Electronics, Kakinada, Sri Gopi Kumar Bulusu, CEO, Sankhya Technologies, Vizag and Dr. S. Lakshminarayana Chair IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section participated.
A meeting with all the chairs and student branch counsellors was organized under the chairmanship of Prof. P. Satheesh. Various issues and forward planning of events for the year 2016 were discussed.
