[Legacy Report] Executive Committee meeting of IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section
The Executive Committee of IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section met on 24th December 2015 at 10:00hrs at Rajsuguna, Ramnagar, Visakhapatnam - 530002
The following were present:

- Dr. T.S.N. Murthy Secretary and Treasurer
- Dr. P. Satheesh EC Member
Other EC members Prof K. Lakshmiprasad and Sri K.V. Sriram conveyed their opinion through e-mail to the chair and they were considered.
Item No: 1.
To receive consider and adopt the report of coordinator of Vizag Zonal Student Congress held during 4th and 5th December 2015 at GVP College of Engineering (A), Visakhapatnam.

To receive consider and adopt the expenditure statement of coordinator of Vizag Zonal Student Congress held during 4th and 5th December 2015 at GVP College of Engineering (A), Visakhapatnam.

Item No: 3:
Separate Bank Account:
Resolved that pursuant of provisions of IEEE and any other applicable provisions of the IEEE Hyderabad section and the rules made there under (including any statuary modification(s) or re-enactment thereof for the time being in force), as may be agreed to open a bank account for IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section in the name and style of 'IEEE Vizag Bay' operated at Visakhapatnam in a scheduled or nationalized bank.
Resolved that this account shall be operated even after IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section elevates to IEEE Vizag Bay Section.

Resolved further that two of the officers from Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer shall transact the account. In absence of four different persons in place (in case one person is designated as Secretary and Treasurer) or out of station or on leave for different reasons too, two different persons shall operate the account. One person cannot transact for two different roles even if he/she is officiating.

Elevation of IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section to IEEE Vizag Bay Section.
Resolved that to elevate the Vizag Bay Sub Section to Vizag Bay Section as per the enacted bye-laws of IEEE. The other guidelines, rules and the procedure of IEEE Hyderabad Section will be followed till such time the Annual General Body of IEEE Vizag Bay forms and directed as per IEEE guidelines.
Resolved further that as required, the IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section shall confirm with the accounting and other policies as contained in IEEE Hyderabad Section till such time the Annual General Body of IEEE Vizag Bay Section forms and directed by its Executive body.

Interim Chair:
Resolved that Dr. S. Lakshminarayana, Chair IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section (IEEE Membership No: 80536573) will act as interim Chair for IEEE Vizag Bay Section and is authorized to sign all the documents, evolve, decide upon and bring into effect of IEEE Vizag Bay Section.
