This month, XXXX will report on the two-day IEEE USA Career Fly-In in Washington, DC (Sep. 28-29, 2015), which he attended. During the first day, all participants met for a thorough briefing on immigration policy, politics and working with Congress. The objective was to learn a year's worth of civics in just a few hours, and to prepare the participants to discuss immigration, H-1B visas, and EB visas with the participants' legislators. The next day consisted of private meetings with the participants' elected leaders or their staff.

 

A mid-meeting break will provide pizza and refreshments. Please arrive on time to be included in the head-count for refreshments.

 

Please note that the November meeting is canceled due to the closure of the Library as the meeting coincides with Veterans Day. The meetings will resume in December.
