[Legacy Report] 2nd IEEE UP Section SP/C Joint Chapter Executive Committee Meeting

The second EXECOM meeting of SP/C joint chapter held on 14^th August 2015 at Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad. The meeting is chaired by

Dr. U. S. Tiwary and attended by Dr. Dilip Sharma, Dr. Munesh Trivedi, Dr. Manish Kumar, Dr Parmanand Astya and Dr. Satish Kumar Singh. The agenda of the meeting has been discussed and the minutes as recorded are as follows,

1. Announcements by Chairman, IEEE UP Section SP/C Joint Chapter

• Prof. U. S. Tiwary formally welcomed all the member s of executive committee.
• Ratification of minutes of last executive committee meeting.

2. Requirement of the seed money for smooth functioning of the joint chapter.

• The earlier request was not approved so gaian a request email has been sent to the IEEE Execom Uttar Pradesh Section by Dr. Satish Kumar Singh, Secretary asking for the seed money of Rs. 30000/-Only.

3. Sponsorship Request

• Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad is organizing the International Conference on Bioinformatics and System Biology (BSB-2016)” and "Workshop of System Biology WSB- 2016", between 04th and 06th March, 2016.

(a)The organizers have requested for the technical sponsorship from SP/C Joint Chapter for Conference.

(b) The organizers have requested for the technical sponsorship form SP/C Joint Chapter for workshop.

• The committee, inprinciple Approved the technical co-sponsorship for the UPCON-2015. Dr. Manish Kumar and Dr. Pritish Varadwaj, IEEE SP/C joint chapter oversight committee members will be associated with this event. All the expenses for organizing the conference and other fee or paper uploading charges imposed by IEEE will be borne by the organizers.
• The committee approved the technical sponsorship of workshop.

• Galgotias University is organizing International Conference on Computing, Communication & Automation 29-30th April, 2016.

The organizers have requested for the technical sponsorship form SP/C Joint Chapter.

• The committee, inprinciple Approved the technical co-sponsorship for the UPCON-2015. Dr. Manish Kumar and Dr. Pritish Varadwaj, IEEE SP/C joint chapter oversight committee members will be associated with this event. All the expenses for organizing the conference and other fee or paper uploading charges imposed by IEEE will be borne by the organizers.

• Tula's Institute(The Engineering & Management College) Dhoolkot, Dehradun is organizing the International conference on Advances in Computing,Communication & automation ICACCA2016 between march 30 and 31 2015.

The organizers have requested for the technical sponsorship form SP/C Joint Chapter.

• The committee, inprinciple Approved the technical co-sponsorship for the UPCON-2015. Dr. Manish Kumar and Dr. Pritish Varadwaj, IEEE SP/C joint chapter oversight committee members will be associated with this event. All the expenses for organizing the conference and other fee or paper uploading charges imposed by IEEE will be borne by the organizers.

4. Any other agenda item with the permission of chair.

• In the meeting it has been resolved that every organizer will put a progress report of the IEEE SP/C Joint Chapter sponsored events in the next executive committee meeting.
• A brief report was presented by Dr. Satish Kumar Singh regarding IEEE UPCON 2015.
• A website for IEEE SP/C joint chapter has to be prepared.

• The meeting ended with the word of thanks by Hon’ble chairman SP/C joint chapter.
