[Legacy Report] Mapping Algorithm to Architecture for Constraint- Driven Systems
The IEEE CAS/EDS Chapter organised a technical talk
on “Mapping Algorithm to Architecture for Constraint-
Driven Systems” by Dr. Pramod Kumar Meher, Senior
Research Scientist, Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore on Saturday 28 February at BITS Hyderabad in
morning session and Osmania University in evening
session. Dr. Meher is also the chair of IEEE CAS Singapore
chapter and in his talk he briefed about the mutually
conflicting behavior of design constraints and the
impact of interconnect-delay in nanostructure system
design, He also discussed leakage power and the
consequent need of right architecture to minimize the
energy consumption and the scope for algorithm-
architecture co-design for achieving the desired timing
performance, chip-area and energy-consumption.
