This meeting will bring you face to face with the issues that influence the Supply/Demand for our Members – both students and Senior Engineers? The American Engineering Profession. Is it alive, dead, thriving, failing, recovering? What’s Up? Are we facing a Shortage of engineers with a Section Membership drop of 60 percent. Is this an IEEE Section, Regional or National subject? If so, how are these geographic locations responding? Are they responding at all? Are they problem producers or problem solvers. What are the topics of interest? Who are our representatives?
The Military and NASA budgets are being cut. That means Job Cuts- for Engineers, STEM professionals and Support employees.
Our goal: ideas shared over our open discussion will help members better understand their future in Engineering and most important - employment opportunities? Great with a Shortage- Poor with a surplus.
You are encouraged to attend and bring your spouse and associates to this discussion. Y’all come and joins us! Keep cool and enjoy great company with Pizza and refreshments.

Are our Students getting jobs? North Jersey IEEE Section Membership has dropped to 2007 Members in 2012 from over 5000 in the mid 1980’s, or 60 percent. Where do we go from here?
