About the speakers
Session 1
Speaker: Mr.J.V.Murthy, Director, T.I.M.E. Visakhapatnam
Mr.J.V.Murty is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from REC – Rourkela (1975 – 1980). Prior to starting the franchise of T.I.M.E. At Vizag in 1996, he had about 10 years experience as an executive in the Vizag Steel Plant and also as a partner in a small scale industry and another business organization in Vizag.
Session 2
Speaker: Mr.P.Haragopal, Professor of Strategy at IIAM, Visakhapatnam
Mr.P.Haragopal, currently is also an advisor to Kalpena Industries (one of the largest polymer compounder in India) signed collaboration agreement with ANKURA China and also to ODIN CONTROLS a marketing organization in electrical products including Cables. He previously worked in Indian Cable Company ("INCAB") a BICC Cables Corporation [England] owned Company in various junior positions from the rank of foreman to senior superintendent between 1959 to 1982. He is member of ISI Standardization Committees on Cables and Wooden dispatch drums Member of selection Committee of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in the year 1995. Member of the Governing bodies of various educational institutes. He has been a part of numerous national and international conferences.

Speaker: Tarun Kanti Guin, Sr. Manager – Materials at Visakh RefineryTarun Kanti Guin is a graduate in Instrumentation & Electronics Engg from Jadavpur University, Calcutta and obtained MBA (Finance) from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He Worked in PSU Oil Industry (HPCL) for more than 25 years in various capacities at various dept. At present, working as Sr. Manager – Materials at Visakh Refinery. He is In-charge for Instrumentation & Control system in commissioning of EPP Project in a Petrochemical Company in Egypt and delivering goods to client with Multinational Company and Instrumentation & DCS in-charge in implementation of CAO Project in an Oil Exploration Company. He is also a Guest Lecturer of Andhra University Engineering College, Visakhapatnam.
Session 4
Speaker: K.V.S.G.Murali Krishna, Professor of Civil Engineering at University College of Engineering JNTUK, Kakinada
KVSG Murali Krishna, though born and brought up in a village in India and studied in municipal schools in Telugu medium till his Intermediate, wrote 24 books - general and technical books all in English, followed throughout the world. He has addressed people of all walks of life in the nooks and corners of the country from Mumbai to Kolkata, from Kanyakumari to the Himalayas and outside –Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam and Cambodia; Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, IITs, NITs, IIITs, Universities, Industries, Training centers like Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari and Dr. MCRHRD, Hyderabad on various topics such as Nation Building through Personality Development, Self excellence and Career planning, Soft skills and employability skills, Life Skills for Excellence in Management, Environmental education and awareness, Eco Tourism, Carbon Credits, Pollution control and Environmental management, through Seminars / Workshops / Webinars.

Speaker- Mr.Sumanth Palepu, Chief Marketing Officer, Conduira Education & Training Services Pvt. Ltd.- a leading Test Prep Company in South India
Mr. Sumanth Palepu, a power-speaker, popular for his effective Personality Development and Verbal training sessions, received his MBA degree from IIM Kozhikode and B.Tech degree from GVP College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam. He has previously worked in the Marketing & Production Departments of Sony Entertainment Television & Strategic Division of Mahindra Satyam. He has also worked with the founding team of Indian Premier League (IPL). Part of IPL season 1 & 3 as a part of Marketing & Production Team.
Session 6
Speaker- Dr. S.V.Uma Maheshwara Rao, Head, Mechanical Engineering at Andhra University College of Engineering for Women.
Dr. S.V.Uma Maheshwara Rao has previously worked as Professor, Marine Engineering Department, Andhra University College of Engineering (A). He has 6 years of academic experience and 20 years of industry experience. He has attended numerous national and international conferences.
Session 7
Speaker- Dr.K.Rama Sudha, Head, Electrical Engineering Department, Andhra University College of Engineering for women.
Dr.K.Rama Sudha has worked as Associate professor, Electrical Engineering Department Andhra University College of Engineering. She has worked in projects which include : “Implementation of Fuzzy Logic Power System Stabilizer: A Systematic Approach”, AICTE as Principal Investigator and “A Location-Dependent Data Encryption for Mobile Information System” AICTE . She has attended over a 20 national and international conferences across the country.
About the event
The two day training program was inaugurated at 10:00A.M. 19th February 2016. The inaugural was graced by the Chief Guest Hon’ble I/C Vice Chancellor Prof.E.A.Narayana, Special guest of honor Prof. Ch.V.Ramachandra Murthy and Guests of Honor Mr.J.V.Murthy, Director T.I.M.E., Mr. T.S.N. Murthy, Secretary, IEEE Vizag Bay Subsection, Prof.V.Bapi Raju, HOD, Electrical Department, AUCE (A). The training program comprised seven sessions with each session dealt by one speaker each. Each speaker dealt specific aspects of personality development and skills required for better employability in the current competitive world. Aspects ranging from communication skills including Telephonic Etiquettes, Technical writing, through Team building and Management skills, to problem solving under complex situations, were discussed in detail with live examples. Goal setting, Planning, Organizing, Discrimination and Decision making, Time management. Self (Mind) Management skills. CV/ Resume writing, Email writing were also discussed. Self-motivation, Fear control and Attitude management also occupied the discussions. All the participants were enthralled and were filled with overwhelming vibrance.
The training program ended by 05:00P.M. of 20th February 2016, with a discussion and feedback session where all the participants expressed their satisfaction with the event and gratitude to all the speakers.
