[Legacy Report] Minutes of the Meeting of IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section held on 19-3-2016 at 18:30 hrs at Hotel Dasapalla, Visakhapatnam.

Dr. M. Lakshminarayana, Chair, IEEE Hyderabad Section welcomed all the volunteers. As this is the first visit to Visakhapatnam after MLN took over as chair, he briefed the activities of the Section and possible opportunities for all the volunteers. He also briefed about the R10 activities in our area. He promised all the support to Vizag Bay Sub Section in coming years.

Dr. D.V.R. Reddy asked to nominate a volunteer as SAC for Sub Section and the committee recommended Dr. Chandrasekhar to take up this responsibility. However, Dr. Chandrasekhar mentioned that such a nomination may kindly be routed through the principal of GITAM (Prof. K. Lakshmiprasad) (Action: Dr. SLN)

Dr. K. Padma from AU Student Branch asked about the status of the proposal of organizing an International Conference in December 2016. Dr. MLN mentioned about the Conference organizing and mentioned to upgrade the proposal for consideration. (Action: Dr. K. Padma)
Item No: 4:
Dr. P. Sateesh, Treasurer requested to allocate a separate bank account for Vizag Bay Sub Section and Dr. MLN agreed for this (Action: TSN Murty and Treasurer at IEEE Hyderabad)
Item No: 5:
Dr. Purnaiah, Dr. K.C.B. Rao, Dr. B.T. Krishna, Dr. Chandrasekhar and Dr. Sarat Kuamr Sahu requested to organise more events in this sub section area for the benefit of the members here and Dr. DVR Reddy agreed to organize few more events in association with other student branches.
Dr. TSN Murty thanked all the volunteers who participated with short notice and meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair.
