[Legacy Report] IEEE Energitech - A technical symposium
ENERGITECH is the annual technical fest hosted by the Department of Electrical and Electronics engineering in association with IEEE–PES on 27th February at GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. It is a Technical symposium focusing on the emerging trends and contribution of electrical and electronics in the world.
GITAM IEEE SB is hosting its first version of ENERGITECH and is looking forward in making it a huge success. The main attractions of this version apart from technical and non-technical events are talks on Career guidance, Business and Kalaakaar.
The IEEEians are known for their discipline and perfections. And the events designed are also looking for the same qualities and perfect equations to win it. From the technical side, as the theme reflects, we have events such as Idea Zone, Teqwiz, Xibit and many more. The events require the basic idea on all the disciplines of engineering along with the electrical and electronics. The non-technical events are designed to bring out the hidden extra-curricular activities of the participants. These are the fun events whose objective is to make even a lame person become a part of this beautiful fest. A few of the events are Shakespeare, Click, Visual Arts, Dubsmashit, and a lot more.
The technical symposium had lectures on latest developments, ideas and their applications to the practice of electrical and electronics engineering and Career talks. Students from different colleges and universities were present for the guest lecture Electrical and Electronics Engineering and participated in events.
