[Legacy Report] Faculty Development Programme
Computer Sinence & Engg. Deptt. HBTI Kanpur has organized Faculty Development Programme during 25th to 30th Jan. 2016 on the theme “ Advance Algorithms in Computing”. Renowned Speakers from well established colleges/ institutes have delivered their lectures on the theme. In the Inaugural Ceremony, Prof. Ashok Kr., Director HBTI Kanpur, TEQIP Coordinator Prof. Yaduvir Singh and 55 Nos. faculty members have registered in the Faculty Development Programme. Prof. Y.N. Singh Electrical Engineering Deptt. IIT Kanpur has delivered the Key Note address. Professor Phalguni Gupta from NITTTR Kolkata, Mr. Navpreet Singh IIT Kanpur, Prof. Harish Karnick, CSE Deptt. IIT Kanpur, Prof. Yaduvir Singh, HBTI Kanpur, Dr. Surya Prakesh, IIT Indore, Dr. Manish Gaur, IET Lucknow, Dr. Shekhar Verma, Dr. Anupam Agrawal, IIIT Allahabad, Prof. Nishchal Verma, IIT Kanpur & Prof Surendra Baswana, CSE Deptt. IIT Kanpur has delivered the lectures in the Faculty Development Programme. The main aim of the programme is to highlight the interesting key algorithms in current research area of Soft Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Machine Learning, Network & Mobile Computing, Distributed System, Image Processing, Software Engineering, Software Project Management, Parallel/Multi-core Algorithm, Concurrent System and Cloud Computing. It aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry to share ideas, problems and solutions related to the multifaceted aspects of computing. All the lectures have been appreciated by the attendee faculty members. On 30th January 2016, In the Valedictory programme, certificates were distributed.
