[Legacy Report] IEEE Day 2016 Celebration
We celebrated 7th IEEE Day 2016 on 4th October, 2016. In the Celebration Program, there were 22 participants, among them 13 were IEEE members and remaining others were Faculty of Physics, Chemistry, Engineers and students. We have invited two keynote speakers, Dr. Arbind Mishra, member of Nepal Planning Commission and Prof. Gokarna Motra, Campus Chief, who delivered their lecturs on Smart Power Grid and Earthquake 2015 in Nepal. In the program Prof. Bhadra Pokharel, IEEE ED Nepal Chapter Chair explained a short histrory of IEEE and Electron Device Society. He also stressed on the importance of being IEEE member. Dr. Arun Timalsina, Nepal Sub-Section Chair, discussed on the formation of IEEE Nepal Sub-Section and its activities.
