Greg Dunstone is a Specialist Egineer on radar and air traffic control systems with Airservices Australia, and the Chairman of the Australian Strategic Planning Group’s Surveillance Technology Working group (STWG).

Abstract:

Over the last decade Australia has been transitioning to space based technologies, including from conventional navaids to GNSS navigation, and from radar based surveillance to ADS-B. This presentation will discuss Airservices Australia's ADS-B program and the potential for further development including space based ADS-B and solutions for optional VFR fitment.
