      GPREC IEEE Student Branch(STB 15721) started on 19th July 2014. Computer Society (CS) chapter was approved on 20th June, 2016. At present  12 students and 2 faculty  are members of this chapter. The inaugural function of the  CS chapter was held on 6th August,2016 along with the other 5 chapters .

On the day of Inaugural function at 2.00 PM  IEEE Computer Society chapter organized a technical talk on “Introduction to Cloud” by eminent person Mr.Madhav Negi.

The objective of this event is to get awareness and enhance the knowledge of Cloud Computing.

The target audience for this event is UG,PG students and faculty.  Around 70 (10 IEEE students and 15(2 IEEE faculty members )faculty members were present.
