[Legacy Report] GPREC-STB-15721-Compuetr Society-Technical Talk-Cutting edge technologies
The IEEE Student Branch (STB15721) of G.Pulla Reddy Engineering College celebrated IEEE Day on 4th October 2016. On this occasion Mr A. Aravindhan recipient of Richard E Merwin from IEEE Chennai Section invited as Chief Guest. The event was started at 10:30 A.M with cake cutting by Chief Guest, our beloved Director of GPREC Dr. P. Jayarami Reddy, HOD of Electronics & Communication Department Dr. K. Suresh Reddy and Branch Counsellor C. Harinatha Reddy along with other IEEE Societies Faculty advisors.
After the cake cutting, the Chief Guest gave a technical talk on “Cutting Edge Technologies-A CS Report-2020” from 2.00 PM to- 2.45 PM
The objective of this event is to give an insight of the technological developments to the students of Computer society and also non computer science students.
During the conversation he explained mostly how Technological developments are being done. He also explained about various cutting edge technologies that are in existence which are helpful to the society. The students were inspired by Chief Guest’s Talk and were benefitted a lot. A total of 48 students were present for this talk out of which 18 were IEEE members.
