[Legacy Report] IEEE CIS Expert Lecture on “Transducer and Instrumentation Virtual Lab”
IEEE CIS Expert Lecture on "Transducer and Instrumentation Virtual Lab" was organised at PSIT Kanpur, U.P., India from 12:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Event was started with the welcome address to honorable expert lecturer Dr. Nishchal K . Verma. Dr. KTV Reddy, Director, PSIT, Kanpur presented a bouquet to honor and invited him for the lecture. Dr. Verma started his lecture with a brief introduction about local CIS chapter and encouraged all participants to be member of the same. Afterwards he moved on the event’s theme “Transducer and Virtual Instrumentation Lab”. Most of the participants were the faculties of the institute. He demonstrated how the introduction of virtualization technology in education system can help academic institutions to scale down lab resources needed. Users gain immediate access to a full featured virtual lab management application that enables collaboration across globally distributed teams using a shared virtual infrastructure. Training session was also conducted to help them to understand the usage of the system. To provide hands on experience participants were asked to simultaneously run the experiments. To assist the participants developer members were also present. At end Dr. Shukla along with Dr. Reddy honored Dr. Verma by presenting a momentum. Session was successfully completed with the photoshoot of all participants with Expert.
At end of the event lunch was arranged for the Expert lecturer and organizing team.
