[Legacy Report] IoT Award - Phase 2
In this phase of the competition, the Top 5 teams pitched their ideas in front of a jury composed of the Advisor to the Minister of Telecommunications, Alfa's Chairman and CEO and Ericsson president in North Middle East. Top 3 teams were then chosen based on specific grading criteria and were awarded monetary prizes, trophees, and internship opportunities in the subject companies. All participants were also handed certificates of participation.
The event started with a networking area followed by an exhibition of the 15 participating teams. After the winners announcement and recognition, a cocktail reception allowed networking between participating students and the audience that included IEEE officers, universities officers, incubators and companies employees.
