[Legacy Report] IEEE MJCET TECHNOVATION
IEEE PES MJCET conducted the event TECHNOVATION on August 23, 2016. The main objective of the event was to make the participants overcome their stage fear and obtain valuable experiences. Unlike the regular power point presentation events where a panel of judges decide the winners, the audience voted for the best presenters.
The event was hosted by Ms. Tuba, a member of IEEE PES MJCET. The event started at 3.30 pm. This is the first event where the audience gave voice to the participant’s performance. The participant’s had to send their abstract and presentation to Mr. Shahnawaz, (Treasurer - IEEE PES MJCET) on or before August 22, 2016. Each team was given a time limit of 5 min. The volunteers distributed Judging and Feedback forms to the audience. Ms. Tuba explained briefly the voting process. 10 enthusiastic teams gave presentations and were simultaneously judged by the audience.
