[Legacy Report] [IEEE MJCET]: Technites
Description:
The Technites event was conducted by the IEEE Computer Society and was designed to judge the time management and problem-solving skills of the participants.
The Event:
This event consisted of three rounds. The rounds were:
Round 1 - Buzzer Round
Ten questions were asked related to technology and general knowledge. The one who scored more were qualified for the next round.
Round 2 - Just a Minute
In this round, one of the team member spoke on a given topic.
Round 3 - Debugging and Quiz
In this round, a team of two were paired and they had to debug and get the output of the program and the other had to answer a quiz within the time limit. The one who won with a higher score in less time, was judged to be the winner.
Conclusion:
The event saw a good number of participants and each participant was able to successfully determine their time management and problem-solving skills. The winners of the event: Owais Khan and Owais Junaidi were given a cash prize of Rs.300.
