[Legacy Report] [IEEE MJCET]: Virtual Reality and Internet of Things
Description:
This event was conducted jointly by IEEE Computer Society, PES, and External Academia. The aim of this event was to inspire the younger generation to innovate by demonstrating the latest technologies, i.e, Virtual Reality and Internet of Things.
The Event
This event was conducted at Focus High School, which situated in Dar-al-Shifa road, Hyderabad. The event kickstarted with Mustafa Naim, the IEEE Computer Society Vice-Chair speaking on virtual reality and how it is going to be a vital piece of technology in the future. Wasey Ather, the IEEE Computer Society Chair, also spoke a few words on how the project was developed by him and his teammates, and also spoke on the importance of working hard. Later, every single student was given a chance to get immersed in the world of virtual reality.
Also, the teams of PES and External Academia talked about Internet of Things and its importance in the coming future.
Later, biscuits and cakes were distributed among the students and the faculty of Focus High School.
Conclusion:
The event was a roaring success. Everyone was inspired by these two latest pieces of technology, including the principal of the school. The objective of the event, i.e, to inspire the students, was properly realised.
