[Legacy Report] Workshop on Hadoop Basics
Big Data Analytics has become very crucial as it aids in improving business and decision makings. Now-a-days, huge number of opportunities are available for the professionals, who are skilled in Big Data Analytics. In order to train the current students to become skilled professionals in Big Data Analytics, the IEEE CIS/GRSS joint chapter has planned to organize a series of workshops under the title of Machine Learning for Big Data Analytics Series. This is the first workshop on HADOOP BASICS as part of Machine Learning for Big Data Analytics Series, being organized by IEEE CIS/ GRSS at IIIT Hyderabad. The scope of this workshop is to train the participants on hadoop installation, understand the Hadoop architecture, Hadoop Distributed File System, MapReduce, SQOOP, Pig and Hive basics.
