Minutes of Meeting of SAC, IEEE Vizag Bay Sub-Section was held on 18-06-2017
A Sub-Committee overseeing the Vizag Student Zonal Congress activities met on 18-06-2017 at Visakhapatnam at 04:00 PM
The following were present:
- Dr. T.S.N. Murty, SAC
- Dr. P. Satheesh, SAC Member and Treasurer Vizag Bay Sub Section
- Dr. Chisti, SAC member
- Dr. S. Lakshminarayana, Past Chair (invitee)
The following Student Volunteers also participated in this meeting:
- K. Sairam Kumar
- J. Avinash
Main agenda is to discuss IEEE VizagBay Student Zonal Congress.
Item No: 1 Dates of the Event:
Preference 1: 29th 30th July or 22nd 23rd July (Saturday and Sunday)
Preference 2: 28th 29th July or 21st 22nd July (Friday and Saturday)
(It is requested that the decision of dates is open and Chair IEEE Vizag Bay may kindly confirm these dates subject to his availability)
Item No: 2: Theme of the Event:
Earlier we have submitted with Renewable energy as theme. Members felt to consider 'Smart Cities using Engineering Technology' as the theme. It is also requested that Chair may kindly confirm it.
Item No: 3: Registration fees:
The committee proposed registration fee of Rs 250/- (IEEE Student members) Rs.300/- (non-IEEE student members).
Item No: 3: Poster for the event:
Rough copy of poster design will be prepared by Dr. Chisti group and will be sent in two days.
Item No: 4: Detailed programme:
The detailed two-day program with income/expenditure will be finalized before end of June 2017 and will be placed in next Sub-Section SEC.
The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair.
