You will got many job opportunities, interview calls.
Good for those colleges where no campus placement.
cons-
85+ percentile needed to get calls from good compnies.(package approx-5,6)
70+ percentile needed to get calls from all avg. compnies.(package approx-3,4)
Starting in hand salary will be approx 22k-25k or max 30k.
Hike in salary is very less, approx 6-10k(max) in 1 year.
Work will be web based development or developing any apps on java,php,Android etc. This type of work anyone can do with 2-3 months of training.If anyone will ask you to develop any website
or android application with some artificial intelligence or mechine learning technique then you can't.
You will not be envolved in any kind of real computer science development project on Artificial Intelligence,Mechine Learning etc.
MBA--
pros-
Very good placement after MBA from IIM or top institutes.
cons-
Tough Competition in CAT for general cat.
Very high fee of IIM colleges which may not be possible for avg. family student.
GRE--
pros-
Very good placement after MS from top foreign universities.
cons-
Again tough competition because you have to score very high for scholarship in foreign universities.
Cost of study will be approx 40-50 lacks per year if you not able to got good scholarship universities.
Job in product based compnies--
pros-
Salary will be good and work environment will be good.
cons-
Product based compnies only hires from tier-A colleges or top coders from country(Top performers of online Coding judges).
Students from tier-3 colleges can get the job in these compnies but their profile will not be good like they will give you testing profile or syatem emgineer
profile, No future scope in these profiles.
Job in service based compnies like TCS,wipro,Accencture etc--
pros-
No need to do hard work.
No pressure in compny.
No need to study much to sustain in job.
cons-
They will give same work to all branch students that means any gradugate with 3-4 months training can do that type of work.
Starting salary will be 3.5 lpa.
Hike is very less.
After 5 years if you remain in same compny your salary will be around 4 or 4.5(if you switch into another compny than salary may increase 5-6 lpa).
Same you will be working on simple web based programming (java,php,android etc).
Mtech(only IITs and in top3 NITs Trichy,Warangal,Surathkal in CSE branch)-
pros-
Only 2 years of study in india(actually only 1st year nd 2nd for project only).
12800/- Pm stipend is there.
Fee in not very high.
Starting avg salary will be around 15 lpa.(Can be much more depends on capability and hard work)
Profile will be better than service based compnies.
Will got the opportunities to discover more in fields AI,ML,Big Data, Data Science etc.
cons-
only 2 years of patience and dedication needed.
