1. Ratification of minutes of the last executive committee meeting.

2. Bhagwant Institute of Technology, Muzaffarnafar, UP India is organizing International

Conference on Advanced Signal Processing & Communication Systems, ( IC-ASPCS 2013)

during 12-14, April, 2013 at BIT Muzaffarnagar, UP India. They have requested to IEEE UP

Section for financial assistance & technical sponsorship for conference.

3. The Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT, BHU, Varanasi is organizing 17th National Power System Conference (NPSC)-2012 during 12-14 December, 2012. It is requested to IEEE UP

Section to provide the financial sponsorship to meet the TA/DA expenses of invited speakers. The requested amount is Rs. 3,90,000/-.

4. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT, BHU, Varanasi is organizing

International Conference on "Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing" (AISC-2012) on 7-9

December 2012. They have requested to IEEE UP Section for financial support. The requested

amount is Rs. 1,00,000/-.

5. The GLA Mathura is organizing International Conference on Information Systems and

Computer Networks (ISCON) 2013 at GLA Mathura between March 9 and 10, 2013.

They are looking for collaboration with IEEE UP Section for organizing this conference.

They also want to upload their accepted paper on IEEE Explorer.

6. The Department of Electrical Engineering, MNNIT Allahabad is organizing 2nd

Students’ Conference on Engineering and Systems (SCES 2012) from April 12-14, 2013

at MNNIT Allahabad. They are looking for technical sponsorship with IEEE UP Section

to organize this conference.

7. Prof. U. S. Tiwary, IIIT Allahabad is looking to explore the possibility of organizing the Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Human Computer Interaction 2013 IEEE UP

Section (may be Computer and Signal Processing Chapter) between October 2013 to Jan

2014. He wants suggestions and feedbacks from executive committee members of IEEE

UP Section for organizing this event.

8. Dr. Saikat Chakrabarti, IIT Kanpur, has requested IEEE UP Section to provide the local

travel expenses and accommodation of Prof. Arindam Ghosh, Queensland University of

Technology, Australia and Dr. Ritwik Majumder, ABB Corporate Research, Sweden for

their visits and seminars at IIT Kanpur.

9. MNNIT Allahabad is organizing 2nd International Conference on Power, Control and

Embedded System (ICPCES-2012) during 17 to 19 Dec. 2012. They have requested Rs.

75,000/- to meet the travel expenditure of keynote/ plenary speaker of the conference
