The presentation will provide a high level view of Open VPX SDR (Software Defined Radio) for a systems
engineer tasked with designing a 3U, or 6U system. The presentation begins with a brief historical review of the
transition from VME to Open VPX and finishes with eight relevant VITA topics for radio system design. This
presentation will help Radio/System Design Engineers navigate some of the pitfalls when complying with the
latest 3U & 6U Open VPX requirements.
