Gene Grindle, P.E. of Western Farmer Electric Cooperative

Biography:

Gene Grindle graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Georgia and Utah.

Gene’s entire career has been in the power generation and power distribution sector. He is currently the Plant Manager of Western Farmers Electric Cooperative’s Hugo Plant in Fort Towson, Oklahoma. Prior to that he held positions as Senior Manager in charge of EDF-RE’s OCC (their North American control center that remotely operated over 140 wind, solar, and battery installations) in San Diego, California, Plant Manager of Deseret Power’s Bonanza Station in Vernal, Utah and a number of other project engineering and management positions in the power generation space.
