3rd Site Visit to Alfa Telecommunications
As part of the MoU signed between IEEE Lebanon Section and Alfa Telecommunications, Young Professionals Lebanon organized a site visit where Alfa welcomed at its premises 30 IEEE Student Members.
The feedback of the students was great where the visit surpassed their expectations on the technical level and they were all glad to end this tour with an extra technical knowledge that they shall make use of in their upcoming courses.

The visit covered the below:
1. 90 minutes presentation on the evolving technologies in the sector
2. Tour inside a switch room at Alfa where all the hardware equipment responsible for the communications assurance are installed. Students were divided into 3 teams with 3 different tutors during the tour
3. Visit to a site where the antennas are installed and its hardware room. Here as well, students were divided into 3 teams.
In addition, Alfa Telecommunications generously offered the students a coffee break and a launch at their canteen where they had the time to get to meet each other and have a talk with some engineers at the company.
