Build Something Cool
Build Something Cool Free Event for Kids and Parents, Feb. 24
The Denver IEEE is co-sponsoring the fourth annual “Build Something Cool” Event, free for 6-12th graders on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
Over the course of the day, Denver area students build and keep electronic projects, eat pizza, and talk to real engineers. The students can select project kits like Simon Says Games, Portable USB Chargers, and LED Blinky Projects. The IEEE will provide lunch for the students and their parents. Volunteers will be on hand to give pointers on circuit building, safety, soldering and troubleshooting. Discovery Tables will also offer hands-on learning in science and engineering.
Mark your calendar for February 24, 2018. Drop-in is from 10 am to 3 pm, on the Denver Auraria Campus (near I-25 and Speer), but you must be registered. For more information and to register for your free project by Feb.16, visit: http://legacy.bluestampengineering.com/build-something-cool-event/
Build Something Cool is co-sponsored The Denver IEEE Section, MSU Denver, BlueStamp Engineering and SparkFun Electronics.
