Membership Drive - IEEE MVSR SB [STB Code:12161]
Membership drive was aimed at creating an awareness among students about how IEEE plays a vital role in their growth as an Engineer and enhance their abilities as a student.The drive was conducted on a large scale and many students showed interest.Our IEEE Student Branch Advisors and Mentors addressed the crowd about the aim and goals of IEEE MVSR SB, and also described the events previously done by the student body and its role in enhancement of student profiles.
The members of IEEE are always pushed to share their ideas, thus enhancing their leadership skills during every event .The newcomers are welcomed and guided by the other experienced members. The members of IEEE MVSR SB shared their experience with IEEE and how it has helped them grow.For any workshop, lecture or any other IEEE event, a student who has attended it definitely feels its content to have a practical outcome and as an add-on to their profile. The student’s abilities are always groomed in such a case. The students who have attended the event and experienced it expressed the same enthusiasm when attending the drive.
A power point presentation was given by the Student Branch Counselor Dr.D.V.Hari Krishna regarding the benefits joining IEEE and the achievements of the IEEE-MVSR Student Branch. The principal of our college and WIE advisor of IEEE MVSR-SB Dr. G. Kanaka Durga and our Ex-Student branch counselor Mrs. A.V.Vahini addressed the gathering on both days and on the second day of the drive student branch advisor Mr.Ashwin Kumar motivated the students by giving an informative speech on IEEE.It was a two day membership drive and a crowd of 400 students was present for two days. The effectiveness of the drive was evident as a lot of students started showing interest joining IEEE.
