Midwive training for the introduction and implementation of Sahabat Bundaku mHealth Program. This event was conducted by IEEE SIGHT on eHealth and Telemedicine Indonesia and is part of a project supported by IEEE HAC project grant. 200 midwives from the Surabaya municipal area were introduced to the Sahabat Bundaku mHealth program in a 2 days session. This is the start of the pilot implementation of Sahabat Bundaku in the Surabaya municipal area.

Sahabat Bundaku - an mHealth application for mother and child health

Biography:

Yoke Saadia is the chair of IEEE SIGHT on eHealth and Telemedicine Indonesia, and a lecturer in Biomedical Engineering Department of Institut Teknologi Bandung. Using her multidisciplinary background as a medical doctor and biomedical engineer, she strives to develop and implement appropriate technologies in improving healthcare in Indonesia, focusing on mother and child health. She and her group has received support from IEEE SIGHT and IEEE HAC for her current flagship project, Sahabat Bundaku, an mHealth application for mother and child health that is used in conjunction by midwives, health offices and mothers.
