WarHacks
IEEE and SCS Concordia present WarHacks:
This event is an introductory hardware Hackathon aimed at the younger generation of students looking to learn new technical skills.
There is no previous knowledge needed, upon arrival the competitors will be greeted with multiple different workshop tutorials that will teach key skills for robotics building. Subjects like programming, motor controlling, sensor reading and much more will be covered during these tutorials.
Later in teams, the competitors will put their creativity to work and build a robot that will accomplish the given challenges. These challenges will be unveiled at the beginning of the competition and will be in the form of three different objectives. Teams can pick to complete one, two or all three tasks at hand to gain as many points as they can.
WarHacks will be held in the EV building of Concordia University in room 2.260.
Students can register as teams or individually. If students register individually we will make sure to pair them up with other students.
This is a FREE Event. Competitors will be given a T-shirt, Lunch and Supper.
