THE HACK FACTION
'The Hack Faction' is an online hackathon planned, and an initiative of Women In Computing, IEEE Kerala Section. The focus is on improving the programming skills of girls across the state. The programme will include unique elements of training and competition.
The participants would be prescribed with a specific syllabus to learn along with the resources for the same. An initial time span would be allocated for them to complete the prescribe course and do a small project on their own. This will conclude the first phase
The second phase will have the competition from the prescribed syllabus, and will be carried out as an online competition. The entry to the competition will be limited to the participants who complete the projects related to the topic they have undergone training in. Which will be set by the organizing team. The competition winners will be recognized by the Section. Also the top performing teams from this competition can be introduced to advanced technologies later on.
