About the Meeting
Our meeting is designed to introduce Engineers to the skills needed for Engineering Sales. The presentation is a combination of sales techniques typically presented in sales training courses, enhanced by real-life experience. Topics include Account Identification, Time Management, Closing Techniques, and Database management. It should also enlighten experienced Sales Engineers with proven sales techniques and strategies.
We will have time for a question and answer session about the profession and the Section’s future.
Bring your associates, friends and spouses. This session is necessary for recent graduates and experienced members.

About the Speaker

Russell Pepe is currently the co-owner and Sales Engineer with Advanced Technical Marketing (ATM). ATM is a Manufacturer’s Representative Company covering the northeast. Products include, Test Equipment, Components, Modules, Sub-Systems and Engineering Services, spanning technologies from RF, Microwave, Fiber Optics, EMC and Embedded Systems. Prior to joining ATM, Russell was the Applications Engineering Manager and Sales Engineer with Anritsu, a major test equipment manufacturer. He has over 35 years of engineering experience, with about 20 years in sales. Russell received an MSEE from NJIT. He was recently elected as the IEEE North Jersey Section Chair for 2013/2014.
